I just started Fall and all I can say is Holy Fuck, this game is something else.

If you have the means to play it, you should play it; it is that good!

Well, that was basicly the tip i wanted to give you, the generator powers the security card scanner, and only you have the card. The easiest way through that level that I saw was clearing the way from generator to security door first, activate the generator, dash towards the door while all enemies rush to the generator, occasionally hide behind a box while the enemies rush right past you towards the biggest source of sound), open the door and close it behind you without spending a bomb or any ammo on the bad guys.

My way was certainly much more action packed but I finally made it in the end lol.

I really had no idea what the Generator was powering up as I hadn't gotten the key card yet so not having that insight is kinda what made me do it the way I did.

I'm quite far into Fall now and not sure exactly where I am in the game anymore? I thought I was approaching the end of it but now I just can't be sure anymore which is actually a good thing.

This game has been a bit of a roller coaster ride until now and I can see what some reviewers meant by the game not being fun because I can't think of one aspect of the game that is fun.

Even the lighter moments that made me laugh were not particularly funny but put into context across the mood of the game overall, I found myself laughing albeit, nervously.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm still not completely confident in my skills with the controller or if it's the games mood but I've yet to feel at ease at any point ingame.

This is not a bad thing at all, just something I thought I'd mention as it's certainly exceptionally immersive in this (and many other) regards.

I now know why so many reviews gave it a perfect score.

While there are some technical issues and some immersion breaking flaws, the game presents itself so unbelievably well that it's easy to get lost in it. Today I got to play in snow and it's the very first time I've ever seen a game handle it this exceptionally.

I don't really want to say what was so great about it for those who still may play through but suffice to say, you'll never forget the experience especially if you pay attention to the details.

Story progression, character progression, body animations, facial animations, banter/communication is all second to none and the best I've ever seen. Even just watching them wake from being asleep is so well done it's amazing.

Naughty dog may have not created the perfect game but if it isn't perfect it's pretty bl00dy close.

meh i watched the footage it looks ok. Im not into these storyline games though, the stories annoy me more then fascinate me and im terrible for finding flaws in them that then just annoy me for the rest fo the game play to the point they drive me insane and i want to throw the whole console out the window.

I dont play consoles anymore though so im not missing out on anything. I just cant figure out the damn controllers! the xbox controller drives me barmy, i can use netflix and thats about it. i tried to play COD on the xbox and my guy kept staring straight up instead of walking and then i threw a granade at my feet and blew myself up. game over.

god forbid they ever put COH on a console....Id kill myself with insanity trying to figure out how to make the controller work!

anywho...glad you enjoyed the game. but i'll take a pass!

For those of us who have evolved and developed opposable thumbs, figuring out a controller is not too much of a problem
